History was re-Tell

Puteri Gunung Ledang was one of our magnificient folk tales. The story was told from generation to another generation; the unspeakable beauty of Gusti Puteri Retno Dumilah and the charming yet cunning Hang Tuah fallen in love secretly behind the knowledge of Sultan Melacca.

Their love story are now came into life @ Istana Budaya Kuala Lumpur. Tickets were sold out 2 weeks in advanced and the extended show tickets are gone in just 3 hour! Am lucky to have the tickets last night, thanx to my gurl, Sri. RM30 tickets sitting on the upper circle ... luckly my view wasnt block much. Picture below is the view from my seat.


It all started in Majapahit when Mahmod of Melacca came over to Majapahit under the government business. As soon as Gusti Puteri Retno Dumilah look upon Hang Tuah's she'd knew that she had fallen in love with the Laksamana of Melacca. They met secretly in Majapahit. Everything was beautiful till the day when Demak, suddenly attacked Majapahit terratory and threaten to attack Adipati's Palace. Adipati the ruler of Majapahit asked for help from his brothers of Melacca. Sultan Mahmod agreed to help, but with a price - if Demak stop threatening Adipati, Mahmod of Melacca shall have Putri Gusti as his Mistress, and so Adipati agreed... without Putri Gusti knowledge. Hang Tuah was sent by Sultan Melacca to give his words to Demak.
After a while, Putri Gusti cant wait no longer and so she decided to sailed to Melacca all by herself, leaving behind her name, fame and family. And so she climb up the Gunung Ledang to wait for Hang Tuah to arrived. At the same time, Adapati was pissed off when his sister, Putri Gusti had left her chamber and sailed to Melacca. A promised must be fulfilled!!! Adipati told Mahmod of Melacca that his sister was hiding in Gunung Ledang and so the Sultan ordered Hang Tuah and his men to go to Gunung Ledang and return with Putri Gusti. And so the sad, romantic live story begins ....

soon after its finished, I bought PGLtM Music CD for RM18, it has only 5 tracks on it. I am quite dissapointed because at first I thought it has the whole soundtrack in it. After listening to it in my car, it is worth RM18! Beautiful words and its music has been arranged gracefully .... it captured my ears.

As an add-ons, last night I saw Afdlin Shauki, Siti Nurhaliza, Roslan Aziz, Zahim Albakri and a few more .....

PGLtM was marvelous. The music, dance choreographer, settings, and not forgotten the actor/actress in it .. everything was great!!!

I like matchbox20, Rob Thomas ... though he's going solo these days ( resembling Robbie Williams .. R and R .. huh, what a coincedence!!) This tune of his has kept me listening forever. In the car, at the office and in my walkman W900i phone. Owh, flash news -> I'd bought SE W900i few weeks ago ... a record for me cause I still havent put a single scratch on the screen. I need no iPOD now!! hehehehe ......

...something to be was release last year, 2005. This is a back-dated news. hehhe, it took me quite sometimes to think and grab this record. It cost me RM45.90 for this. Overall, worth for my money. No complains ... I like him but lurve Robbie more. Heehehehehe ...

1st : Today (13th Feb) is my most favourite star bornday! Happy 32nd bornday to Robbie Williams

2ndly : Today also in conjuction with International Condom Week celebration. That does apply very much to Robbie. He sure be using lotss of them. *~winnkk

3rd : Its a boring boring Monday and that means life is back at zero.

4th : Tomorrow is a day full with lurve; Happy Valentine's Day!!!

A big loss .. a moment of silence

JOHOR BAHRU 7 Feb. - Penyanyi popular tahun 60-an, S.Jibeng atau nama sebenarnya Jaafar Siddiq, 64, meninggal dunia di Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) di sini pukul 7.30 pagi ini akibat sakit jantung.

Jenazah Allahyarham selamat kebumikan selepas zuhur hari ini di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Kebun Teh, di sini.

Antara rakan-rakan seangkatan yang menghadiri pengkebumiannya ialah Datuk A. Rahman Hassan, A. Rahman Onn, A. Halim, J. Sham, Jefry Din, Datin Norkiah Abdullah dan S. Mariam.

Dalam pada itu, rakan seperjuangan S. Jibeng, A. Rahman Hassan berkata, walaupun Allahyarham cacat penglihatan, namun sikapnya yang peramah amat disenangi ramai.

``Pemergiannya memang amat dirasai di kalangan artis irama 60-an,'' katanya.
