shine n rains with us

Yeah, another weekend spent climbing rocks in Batu Caves. As for me the beginner, me start with 5C route. Look easy, but my little fingers are aching fighting with those solid rocks.
This time there was only us doing climbing, beacuse there will be a tournament next weekend at Mont Kiara .. no wonder there was no one except us! Good thing is, we can have all the rocks to ourselves ... greedy greedy people .. hahahahaha
The weather was envy with us. It rains on and off from the afternoon till dawn. We moved into the cave, taking shelter from the rain and start climbing again. In here, the route is much more challeging. Taking pictures of these spideys arent easy though ... learn to climb, learn to take picture in cave ... just too much information for me in a day! This experiences wont cross me everyday, and thanx to Wan and Rosli for their kind-hearted, sharing and teaching us.

Cant wait to do border next time ...
Next weekend? Me can't! I have to work for the upcoming prototype project. With rope around my neck, I keep on saying ... "I Lurve my job!!!"

Celebrating Syawal in the end

It is time to get together amongst us, celebrating the ending of Syawal month as in the Eid Mubarak festive season. The open house was held at PUJ 9/1, the captain of the User Friendly futsal team. To Nini, you were an excellent cook! The food was marvellous -- BBQ, nasi minyak + lauk, spaghetti, desserts and of course my black pepper sauce. Thanx for inviting me, and you are most welcome as for my help.
If only we could pour in some JD onto the lamb and beef for BBQ ... hahahah! In my dreams!
There was an after party ... at PUJ 2/1!!!

Feel so damn good

A beautiful Sunday morning for rock climbing in Batu Caves, Gombak. Enough of sunshine and shades for us to play around with.
Check all the equipments, the safety knots and off to climbing. There was 6 of us, with 3 of them are the sifoos teaching us the beginner.
It was indeed a new experience. Thanx to Yin, Wan and Rosli ( below picture, names from the right ) for the supports. You guys really rawcks!!
I feel soo damn good touching the anchor ...
We just play for few hours, due to the heavy rain in the late afternoon ... Packed our stuff and returned home aching!!! Hahahahaha ....

Kuala Lumpur from higher ground

It was raining in KL, despite of that matter me proceed with my plans - genting for escape! Things are getting heavier in my mind.
The weather was fine! A bit misty though ( it was around 12 midnight ). But then after a while the mist has cleared out and the view from the top was superb. This was my first time looking down to KL. Did some experiment shots, playing around with my SLR.
I stayed there from midnight till 5am. With a blank mind and sleepy eyes, I drove back to KL. With no resolution or conclussion of my 'thing', only three words for myself ... LIFE GOES ON ...

Loooong holly-day

Long holiday. Deepavali & Eid Mubarak festives in October 2006. Take a break from the office for one long week.

We did the same old thing every Eid Mubarak. Went back to Gurun where all my close relatives gathered at our late grandfather's house ( nasi tomato & the pulut kuning was marvellous! ) , pay my respects to Mama and others, stopped by Alor Staq and Nami before went back to Penang.
Nami is somewhere near the Thailand border. It rains all the way from Gurun to Nami. Mist is everywhere, adding extra effect into the scenery.
The next day, is time to visits my relatives in Penang. Tiring trip but worth the time. As I was in Penang ( like twice a year I came home ), I took the liberty to drive around the island. So, from Bayan Lepas to Batu Feringgi ( most famous tourist spot with bazaar in the evening and the white sandy beaches )
this road get busy as the evening came, night bazaar.Dipped my toes into the water, shoot some pictures around here ... and the old memories while I was a kid came to mind. Picnic with my dad, mom and big bro ( it was way before my little sister came into the picture )... building sand castle ... sweet old memories.
From Batu Feringgi, we take an old road to Balik Pulau ( where most of my relatives live ). Any takers to drift here?
Kampung Sungai Rusa, Balik Pulau. I was born here, in this old kampung house ( not ours eventually... ). Mak Long, Tok Long, Tok Ngah and Tok Ndak still lives here ...
Third Day ... at first I wanted to go to Bukit Bendera ( Bendera Hill ), ride into the old style locomotive up the hill, take some pictures. Had to cancelled it because of the super long que!!! On the way home, took the Macalister Road, stopped by my high school - St.George's Girls' School ... and went to eat nasi kandaq at Pertama, Georgetown.
Two important landmark in Penang ... Komtar ( goverment office building ) and Penang bridge. I lurve Penang!!!
